Bursaries
There is a means tested post-entry bursary scheme
available to existing girls whose family experiences unexpected financial
difficulties.
These bursaries are related to the family income and financial
resources of the family, and are consequentially means-tested. They are
designed to avoid a girl’s education being disrupted and may be held until
the family’s financial situation improves or the girl leaves Culcheth Hall,
whichever is sooner.
Post-entry bursaries are reviewed annually and may be
adjusted up or down as the financial situation of the family changes. Bursaries are
subject to satisfactory academic progress, full contributions to the life of
the school and to maintaining a high standard of attendance, behaviour and
conduct. In the event of unsatisfactory academic progress, attendance,
behaviour or conduct, awards may, at the discretion of the Headmaster, be
withdrawn.
Bursary application forms are available from the school
office. For additional information, please click here.
