Culcheth Parents' Society (CPS)
The CPS funds are used for the benefit of all pupils providing those little extras which will enhance their time at Culcheth Hall School.
The CPS is made up of parents – both talented and enthusiastic – who wish to get involved in enhancing the time spent by all pupils at the school by helping to provide the little ‘extras’ that can make all the difference.

There is a range of fund-raising activities run each year which CPS members can choose to join. We understand that if the onus is too great, you may not consider joining the society - so you decide which events you’d like to get involved in – maybe one in the whole year or more – and work on that committee to bring the event about, reporting back to the main group to update when appropriate. In this way the level of commitment can match the amount of time you can volunteer.
Fund raising ideas for 2010 are:
FASHION SHOW in the spring term which will be a huge task for the team organising the event. Therefore if you feel you could assist in any way and would like to get involved, that would be fantastic.
“THE DAISY BALL” - SATURDAY 19TH JUNE 2010
After the overwhelming success of our first Daisy Ball last year, due to popular demand we are hosting another one on 19th June 2010. at Mere Golf and Country Club, Mere, Knutsford. As this event is used to celebrate Year 11 ‘prom night’ it would be fantastic to get input especially from Year 11 parents, so they can add that special touch to the evening for their daughters. In the first instance contact Kate Manley.
We are also hoping to stage a VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA in 2010 with brass band, carols around the Christmas tree and stalls selling local produce, Christmas plants, decorations and gifts as well as a host of fun activities for the whole family! Further details to follow.
Other ideas are in the pipeline and parents are asked to submit their ideas to us, even if they don’t wish to get involved directly.
Recent support given by the CPS (2009) is as follows:
Christmas parties for the pre prep and prep
Christmas gifts for the whole school
Funding of the Dragons Den Day for the senior school
Funding for a drama workshop
Contribution to Francis House Children's Hospice from the Daisy Ball profit
