Children can cook Five pupils from the school who entered a national "Talent for Cooking" competition for 4 - 18 year olds, are to have their recipes published in a book entitled "Children can Cook". The book should be in the shops in time for Christmas. The girls - Chandni Kapoor, Victoria Neale, Celia Bentley, Chelsea Spencer and Zara Whittle, sent recipes for -
The other girls, who still have some time before they need to make their choices, are all keen cooks, both at home and at school. The competition was organised to encourage "Food Awareness", so that children of all ages can enjoy cooking. Recipes were judged on "use of ingredients, flair and enthusiasm, or were just simply delicious!" |
