What is the role of the Culcheth Parents’ Society (or CPS?)
As a committee we organise events for those 'extras' which in the past have included the security fencing around the sports field, a 'Dragons Den' day for the older girls and a 'Circusology Day' for the Prep. Two digital cameras and a dressing up mirror at Founders Day.
The CPS also get involved in other ways, like organizing the refreshments at open evenings and sports days and providing Christmas parties, presents and discos for the children.
The events are great fun and the children love attending them, and infact so do the parents. It is also a good way to meet other parents.
As with any committee we are always on the lookout for new members and we would welcome anyone who could either join the committee or even just give us support at one of the events. Please see one of the members listed below.
We are looking to raise funds to buy some new staging for the prep gym and to overhaul the school mini bus.
