Our aim at Highfield House Day Nursery is to provide a happy, stimulating and loving environment.

Toddler places are available for September 2007 Age Group 12 months to 2½ years

Every child is cared for as an individual with each child having its own routine implemented to help transition into nursery life.

Our staff, a careful mix of qualified and experienced, mature and younger persons, will ensure that your child's needs are fully met within a structured and loving environment.

Each child is made to feel secure, valued and confident and we encourage your child to develop socially, emotionally and educationally.

We have a fully equipped Nursery, providing a wide range of toys, educational and free play, together with excellent outdoor facilities including equipment to stimulate inquisitive minds and develop healthy bodies.

We include parents/carers in all we do and work as a team to help prepare your child for the transition into school life.

The nursery has a total of 44 places at present and is divided into the following rooms:

Bouncy Baby	(6 places)	3-9	months
Busy Baby	(6 places)	9-14	months
Tumble Tots	(16 places)	12-24	months
Tweeney Tots	(8 places)	2- 2½	years

Each child will begin at Highfield House with small 'settling sessions' which allows the child to become familiar with his/her new surroundings and you, the parents, to speak to staff about your child's particular needs.

A baby or toddler room pack will also be given to parents enclosing room plans and forms that must be completed and returned before tour child joins the nursery.

Places now available for children 3-12 months - all days Monday to Friday
Places for children 2- 2½ - all day Monday to Friday.

Places from January 2007

3-12 months - all day Monday to Friday.
1-2 year olds = Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
2-2 ½ year olds = Monday to Friday.
