 Welcome from the Headmaster

Welcome to Culcheth Hall School's web site.

Culcheth Hall School is a friendly, successful independent school on the outskirts of Manchester for some 200 girls between the ages of 3 to 16 years and boys between 3 to 5 years. We are ambitious for our pupils and seek to develop their talents to the full in a caring and challenging atmosphere.

We have much to offer which sets Culcheth Hall School apart from many other schools:

  • The real advantages provided by a single-gender school for your daughter.
  • A particularly caring and secure, family-orientated environment.
  • Traditional beliefs, modern teaching methods and excellent facilities.
  • A firm position on behaviour, manners, courtesy and consideration for others.
  • Small enough for every child to be known individually, yet large enough to offer a comprehensive academic, sporting and cultural environment.
  • We aspire to develop confidence, flexibility, awareness and personal leadership qualities in each and every pupil.
  • Our learning support unit is able to provide personal learning programmes to those who need additional help.
  • The right school environment that often produces results which many thought impossible.

Choosing the right school for your daughter is probably one of the most important decisions you will ever make. I hope you will be encouraged to visit us and see for yourself the high standards we set and the traditional values we hold - you will be most welcome!
