Bursaries |

Culcheth Hall awards a number of means-tested bursaries to girls who show outstanding academic, sporting or musical potential or other talent. These Awards are
related to the family income and financial
resources of the family. The Awards are reviewed annually and may be
adjusted up or down as the financial situation of the family changes.
Applications are invited from
girls from the maintained (state) sector or girls from other independent
schools to enter the school on or before September 2010. Application forms are available from the school
office.
Busraries will be reviewed annually and are
subject to satisfactory academic progress, full contributions to the life of
the school and to maintaining a high standard of attendance, behaviour and
conduct. In the event of unsatisfactory academic progress, attendance,
behaviour or conduct, awards may, at the discretion of the Headmaster, be
withdrawn.
All applicants for Bursaries will be expected to :
- Attend the Entrance Assessment (applicants for Year 7).
- Attend interview with the Headmaster.
- Present a portfolio showing a variety of work or
give a demonstration of a particular talent.
- Agree to Culcheth Hall approaching their current school
for a written or verbal reference.
Successful applicants will be expected to :
- Maintain a satisfactory level of academic progress,
contribute fully to school life and maintain a high standard of
attendance, behaviour and conduct.
- Accept the offer of a place in their appropriate year
group for September, or sooner if preferred. Bursaries will only
take effect from September.
- Agree to giving two full terms notice to leave Culcheth Hall School or agree to be liable to two terms fees in lieu of notice.
