Early Birds & StayLates

'Early Birds' runs from from 8.00am to 8.40am.
'After School Club' (or StayLates) runs from 3.30pm to 6.00pm.
A Holiday Club is organised during each school holiday from 8.00am to 6.00pm.
Details of each of these facilities is available from the school Office.

 

Parking

Parking, for the dropping off and collection of children, is available in the main playground from 8.00am to 9.15am. The gate will be locked from 9.15a.m. - 3.00 p.m. Parking is also available in Cavendish Road.

Parking is not allowed in the staff car park in order to keep this a safe area.

 Physical Education

Physical Education at Culcheth Hall School encourages all pupils of all abilities to participate in and enjoy a wide variety of activities, including netball, gymnastics, dance, rounders, athletics, health related exercise and multi-skill development.

Participation in sport and physical activity can help to develop and build upon the many important life skills of self esteem, leadership, responsibility and team work. Physical Education at Culcheth Hall School empowers each individual pupil to strive towards achieving their personal best, and generates the understanding that learning can be fun and exciting.

Opportunities for participation extend well beyond the normal timetable and give both pupils in the Prep and Senior Department access to a varied and ever increasing range of activities. These include:

  • Netball – Competing in the Trafford Netball League
  • Trampolining
  • Street Dance
  • Fencing and Judo Education
  • Virtual Dance Mat Competition
  • Rounders
  • Tennis
  • Athletics

 

The Physical Education Department is one that is constantly looking to strive for improvement at every given opportunity. The department believes that every pupil has the right to receive high quality PE through an exciting and dynamic curriculum, regardless of their ability or previous experiences of the subject.
